(4) PRIZES:
There will be thirty-six (36) prizes available to be won, being one (1) prize for each Abbotsford Canucks regular season home game played at Abbotsford Centre between October 25, 2024 and the end of the 2024-25 AHL regular season (each, a “Prize Game”).
Each prize shall consist of the following: two (2) tickets to the applicable Prize Game (the specific location of which will be determined by AALP in its sole discretion); the opportunity to power the throttle at the Abbotsford Centre prior to first period puck drop at the Prize Game.; and a Dine & Play package at Chances Abbotsford, consisiting of a $65 voucher for food at the Red21 Tap + Grill and a $20 Slot Play.
The approximate retail value of each prize is one-hundred and forty-five dollars ($145.00). All other costs and expenses associated with the prizes, including without limitation transportation, travel insurance if required, accommodations if required, meals, taxes and items of a personal nature are the responsibility of the “Community Hero” and their guest.
All prizes will be awarded and are provided “AS IS” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
(5) WINNER SELECTION:
The prize winner(s) will be selected by a AALP panel who will review and judge submissions from all eligible Contest entrants, based on the following evaluation criteria: the content of the submission, including the ability to demonstrate/showcase that the “Community Hero” nominee has had a positive impact on the community in which they reside.
Best submissions will be determined by the AALP panel in its sole discretion and will not be subject to further review or appeal. Odds of winning a prize depend on the number of entrants who participate in the Contest and how the AALP panel judges your entry based on the criteria described above.
Prize winner selection will occur at least two (2) days prior to each applicable Prize Game identified above.
For clarity, prize(s) will be awarded to the “Community Hero” nominee, not the selected entrant. A selected entrant must confirm that the “Community Hero” nominee is available to both attend the applicable Prize Game and power the throttle at the Abbotsford Centre prior to first period puck drop at the Prize Game. Further, each of the “Community Hero” nominee and the entrant must agree to sign and return AALP's standard Declaration and Release Form.
If any selected entrant does not meet all of the Contest conditions, or does not reply within twenty-four (24) hours of the initial documented contact attempt by AALP, that entrant will be disqualified and AALP shall be entitled to select from amongst the remaining eligible entries, using the same evaluation criteria as outlined above.
Once a potential winner is determined, the winning entrant will be directed as to how to claim their prize.
